Hendricks Head Lighthouse has a forty-foot Federal-style brick tower, that is connected to a wooden dwelling. It was built in 1875. The station's automated plastic lens, displays a fixed white light with red sectors.

***Directions: From U.S. Highways 1, take Route 27 through Boothbay Harbor to Southport Island. The lighthouse can ben seen from a public beach just off Beach Road.
